Crawlers - 2nd Grade
We love teaching kids about Jesus! Crawlers through age two are in our nursery (open at 9:45 AM on Sundays). Kids age 3 and up are in our big kids’ class and are dismissed to class from service after our opening songs. Our desire is to come alongside parents as they teach their kids about the good news of Jesus.
Current Unit- May 5 -26
Our big kids’ class uses The Gospel Project curriculum. The Gospel Project not only teaches Bible stories - it shows how every story points to Jesus and the gospel.
Every unit has a Bible memory verse. This unit’s verse is Hebrews 11:6
“ And without faith it is impossible to please him, for whoever would draw near to God must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who seek him.”
Every week, we teach a story from the Bible. Below are the stories we will be teaching and the Bible verses they come from.
05/12/24 - People Were Amazed by Jesus (Luke 4)
05/19/24 - Peter Worshipped Jesus (Luke 5)
05/26/24 - We Are Saved by Faith in Jesus (Hebrews 11)
